Kingfisher Realty Burleigh Swim Run

The Kingfisher Realty Burleigh Swim Run is a fun community fitness event that is open to everybody from kids as young as 6 years to adults 60yrs+. The event involves 400m of ocean swimming and 3.84km of path running, a distance that can be achieved by all ages and abilities.
The order of the disciplines may vary race to race for variety e.g. swim then run or run then swim with the Zarraffa’s swim leg (400m) off Burleigh Beach (water safety provided from Burleigh SLSC), through the 7-Eleven Burleigh Transition zone where shoes are kept and the Running Shop Run leg (3.84km) performed on the path between Burleigh and Nth Burleigh (Sunday Race Series and Australia Day Challenge).
Whether you are a first timer wanting a fun fitness event, an aspiring athlete, an average Joe or wanting to do it in a team of two, the Swim Run Series is for you.
The event is run and coordinated by Ty Dowker & Burleigh SLSC.
Enjoy the Kingfisher Realty Burleigh Swim Run from October 19, 2014 to January 26, 2014. The event will be held at the Gold Coast Highway, Burleigh Heads.
