Grammy winning, multi-platinum international recording artist and superstar Leo Sayer returns from a triumphant 30 date UK and European summer tour to deliver his legendary hit packed live show to The Star on Saturday 11 November, 2017.
From his smash hit “The Show Must Go On” from the hit debut album “Silverbird” in 1973 Leo has had a seemingly never ending stream of hits. One Man Band, Long Tall Glasses, Moonlighting, You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, When I Need You, Thunder in My Heart and More Than I Can Say all topped the charts in the 70’s and 80’s and his most recent UK #1 came in 2006 with a remix of Thunder in My Heart introducing a whole new generation to the magic of Leo Sayer.
Continuing his unbroken list of hits, his most recent album “Restless Years” charted in the ARIA top 40 in 2015. With over 40 years of recording and touring the globe behind him, he’s showing no signs of slowing, always living by his motto “The Show Must Go On”, “One Man Band”, a 4-disc limited edition box-set of Leo Sayers first four smash hit albums “Silverbird”, “Just A Boy”, “Another Year” and “Endless Flight” is slated for release by Warner Music (Aust) in Oct 2017.
With over 80 million albums sold worldwide, 25 Top 10 international hits, 5 top 10 albums and writing credits for the likes of Roger Daltrey, Cliff Richard, Dolly Parton and Tina Turner, Leo’s career has been one of stellar proportions.
