North Burleigh Psychic Expo
On Sunday the 22nd of September at the North Burleigh Surf Club, the Psychic and Wellness Expo is back again and offering up psychic readings, spiritual cards and books, salt lamps and crystals, jewellery and shamanic tools of the trade. Chat to the gifted practitioners in a beautiful location with sweeping panoramic ocean views. It’s something a little out of the box to explore on your September stay at Horizons Holiday Apartments.
Octoberfest at Black Hops HQ
Craft beer lover delight, because Black Hops Brewing are bringing you just the Oktoberfest you’ve been looking for in their Burleigh headquarters. Voted Australia’s AIBA Champion Small Brewery in 2018, you know you’re in good hands when you stop by to visit these guys. On Saturday the 28th of September from 12pm to 6pm you can celebrate the real hero of Oktoberfest without all the fuss, which is of course… beer!
Black Hops will be releasing three German inspired beers - a Hefferweizen, Kolsch, and Munich Dunkel on tap plus the popular Rauchbier Smokescreen will be returning again this year. You can also expect the resident German food truck Gunter's Flammkuchen to add to the Oktoberfest celebrations, and of course the charismatic staff and friendly atmosphere just top it all off.
Spring has Sprung
The sundrenched days, cool ocean breeze, and tropical vibes make the Gold Coast a spectacular spot to visit any time of the year, but Spring is an especially idyllic time of year for a stay on Burleigh Beach. The days are warming up to temperatures that call for t-shirts and shorts but without the Summer heat.
